BuddyPress is a Project by the WordPress Team to create a Social Networking add-on to WordPress MU or WordPress Multi User which is like a self hosted version of WordPress.com which you can use to Launch your very own WordPress Blog Host .

This BuddyPress addon will let you convert your default WordPress MU installation into a full fledge Social Networking site complete with Extended Profile, Groups, Friends, Private Messaging, Forums and of course Blogs ! The BuddyPress Project has been under construction for more than a year and the first stable version 1 became available for download today !

The day i published my blog post about QR Codes, i also posted a link to that post on Twitter and after a few minutes guess who do i get a “Follow” by ? Yep @MicrosoftTag and when i checked out their profile i was surprised never knew Microsoft Tag even existed so i checked it out and played with it all night so i could write a blog post later on : )

Just head that Windows 7 will be released on October 23rd 2009 it’s hard to believe but you never know , I have been using Windows 7 since Microsoft Launched the first Public Beta and also the Windows 7 RC 1 went out to MSDN Subscribers today so i believe the final Launch can happen by October but you can be really sure about the date.

Also according to the Windows Blog the Windows 7 RC1 one will be available to the public on 5th May 2009.Also their is a rumor going on that Microsoft will be giving free Upgrade to Windows 7 to people who bought a Windows Vista PC between January to July from Dell or someone else but the dates can change and it still is a rumor !

After the previous accusation of the domain www.blo.gs (that’s a great domain name hack) from Yahoo ! WordPress founder ( Matt ) has struck Gold once again this time its the accusation of another premium Domain WP.COM from Yahoo (again) !

WP is also a shorthand for WordPress that has been used by WordPress guys for quite a few years. When they found out that the domain wp.com was owned by Yahoo ! rather than some one else like WashingtonPost they had been trying to get hold of it since then and ultimately their efforts paid off.

What should we do with WP.com? that’s the question Matt is asking to WordPress Lovers out there, currently it only redirect to WordPress.com but its not a very good use of a great name like this. To be Honest i think they should turn WP.COM into a Micro Blogging service similar to Tumblr i think that will be the best use of the domain and in short time they will beat Tumblr !

I have been reading about QR Codes for past few years but didn’t really get into the idea behind it till i found this a custom QR Code Designed by Takashi Murakami , Produced by SetJapan for Louis Vuitton. It was something different not a normal QR Code with black and white boxes but was a cute full colored QR Code Design with a tiny cartoon character in the middle it really opened my eyes and i thought i should give it a go and do more research on QR Codes and so i did. So i was thinking if i wanted to make a tutorial of an iPhone App or settings how would i take screenshots on the iPhone to make a step by step guide to do things with screenshots from the actual iPhone user interface, So i searched around the web and found a way i never thought it would be so simple but it is all you need is a iPhone running at least firmware version 2.0 or above:

How to take Screenshots on your iPhone Step by Step Guide :

1. Just Press and Hold the round iPhone Home Button
2. While holding the Home Button Just press and release the Sleep/Wake Button on the Top right side of the iPhone the screen will flash so you know the screenshot has been taken.
3. Just go to your iPhone Photo Library and the screenshots would already be there, or you can just connect your iPhone to your PC and copy the images from there.

Personas is a Beta Labs Product by Mozilla which enables you to personalize your Firefox. Personas for Firefox is a Firefox Addon which lets you add lightweight theming to your Firefox Browser like changing the top head and footer of Firefox by replacing it with your very own background image.

I was jsut trying it and i absolutley love this new feature its better than installing new skins finally i can fullfill my need to pimpout my Firefox !
