Just head that Windows 7 will be released on October 23rd 2009 it’s hard to believe but you never know , I have been using Windows 7 since Microsoft Launched the first Public Beta and also the Windows 7 RC 1 went out to MSDN Subscribers today so i believe the final Launch can happen by October but you can be really sure about the date.

Also according to the Windows Blog the Windows 7 RC1 one will be available to the public on 5th May 2009.Also their is a rumor going on that Microsoft will be giving free Upgrade to Windows 7 to people who bought a Windows Vista PC between January to July from Dell or someone else but the dates can change and it still is a rumor !

But now you can remove the “Windows 7 for Testing Purposes Only” Line from Windows 7 Desktop.

First thanks to myDigitalLife for the hack, now we know of a way to remove it completely, it is as simple as downloading a program and running it on your build of Windows 7 but beware there are 2 separate versions of the program one is for Windows 7 Build 6956 while the other one for Windows 7 Build 7000 which i am using.

Something’s to remember this program only supports Windows 7 32-bit version and is only compatible Windows 7 English (en-US) version.

After the Public Release of Windows 7 by Microsoft i was tempted to try it out, Along with millions of other people i also downloaded and installed Windows 7 on my PC and so far its looking bloody great.

If you have also downloaded and installed Windows 7 on your PC you would have seen the Send Feedback link on the top of every Window although its a very good feature to send your feedback to Microsoft but after sometime it gets a bit irritating and i kept clicking it by mistake. So i wondered if there was some way to remove this link and as expected there was one.

To remove the Windows 7 Send Feedback Link follow the following steps:

(1) Run the Registry Editor (type regedit on the start run menu)

(2) Browse to the following registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop

(3) If it’s not already there, add a new DWORD (32-bit) value “FeedbackToolEnabled” and set its data field to 0.

(4) Restart PC and it will be gone !
